Patti Burr

Hi, I'm Patti Burr. I've been the hygientist here at "Thoughful Dentist" for 10 wonderful years. I'm a bottom-line, practical person. So, of course, my dental health approach is also practical. I like to keep things simple. So, I teach, coach, demonstrate simple usable homecare techniques for my patients. "Customized", so to speak. Each person has their likes and dislikes, abilities and disabilities. My aim, is to help each patient figure out how they are going to get and keep a healthy mouth. I also love to clean teeth, good thing, huh? I clean my patient's teeth the way I want my teeth cleaned; thoroughly and carefully. I want my patients to get the very best health care I can offer. Not just the first time, but every time. I believe that what my patients do everyday for their dental health is more important than what I do at their recare appointments. It is the daily de-plaquing of the teeth, gums, tongue that results in oral health. So, it is imperative that patient and hygienist do their part. I never dreamed when I graduated from hygiene school, 30 years ago, that I would still be loving my work. Hallelujiah and whoopi !!! I am grateful everyday to work with such delightful co-workers and patients. When I'm not a hygienist, I'm Monty's wife, of 29 years.  I'm the empty-nested mom of Haley and Sam. I'm a thrift store junkie.  A potato chip addict. A yoga enthusiast. A truth-seeker/God lover. And all-around happy camper. WoW... that's a good life !!!
